Commissioned by Itau Cultural Institute, this work draws inspiration from rituals and celebrations of Candomble (African-Brazilian religion). Its rituals involve the possession of the initiated by Orishas (gods); music and dance are essential to induce the trance that allows the god to enter the possessed body. Shot with 2 Red cameras.

SYNOPSIS
A body defies its exterior; wanders through the path from the impotency to the vital force. A red tissue wraps it and cuts it from the rest of the world. The body gradually fuses with the elements around it — a clay building, a valley, a river — striving to balance the inner and outer world.

SINOPSE
Um corpo desafia sua exterioridade; peregrina pelo caminho da impotência à força vital. Ele vai se amalgamando aos elementos em torno - uma construção de barro, um vale, um riacho — na busca de um equilíbrio entre o mundo interno e o externo.

Selecionado pelo Circuito Mercosur de Videodanza para integrar o novo DVD (2001/2007) do projeto, distribuído a 500 instituições em 47 países.

Em Movimento #2, o ser humano vivencia a simplicidade e liberdade ao transformar as características do mundo que o atravessam. A trilha sonora original foi desenvolvida como uma experiência táti, equalizada para vibrar o maior e mais pesado órgão humano, a pele.

The characteristics of the world move through the woman who gradually, and by her own actions, transforms reality, reconfigures space and shows other possibilities such as sheltering and filling the gaps of her own desire. In awe of the world’s complexities, she realizes herself as a tiny part of the whole. By this time space becomes infinite and sense of time is lost. By practicing the pleasure of being alive, she seeks to rescue values such as simplicity and the ability to share.
